This is one of the finest Antique Moonstone pendants I have ever seen! The Ceylon Sapphires are incredible! The Ceylon Royal Blue Moonstones are the finest I have ever beheld! This was a spoof of my dealer that she would not send a picture nor a description of it...and I had to buy it sight unseen! So given the opportunity I paid $100 for it. The pendant Lavaliere measures 2.25 and weighs 8 grams.

miKKoChristmas11, I call them that to describe the colour and origin of the stone. These Moonstones are the colour of Royal Blue ..a lot darker than most Moonstones....from nowadays. I have been collecting Antique Moonstones for a few years and Nadine Mardock was the Culprit to get me started...she owns White Peacock Jewels...and is by far the deepest blue I have ever seen. Thank you again for commenting on my items. I love to hear the other collectors thoughts and I trust your opinions!!!
Thank you for all the great information. I am a rockhound as well as glass collector, and I love all sorts of gemstones too. I do not own any moonstone...yet, but would consider it in the future now that I see what an exceptional example looks like I will know what to look for.
