I was in Bridgeton, Indiana one day at the Covered Bridge Festival and came across this sitting on a table for sale, just had to have it because the condition is excellent. Can anyone tell me about the era it came from, thanks.

Thank you Hedgewalker!!
I'd put it a little earlier, with less value.
Standard size cabinet cards (4 1/4" X 6 1/2"), which this was made to hold, really fell into decline after the turn of the century. Personal cameras and larger mounted images were much more popular.
I'd put this particular item in the 1880- 1900 range, with a value of about $50- $125 depending on the condition of the interior. I would expect a minty example to bring less than $200.

Thank you scottvez for stopping by and leaving your opinion!
Michael
Glad to help.
Is it empty or full of photographs? Depending on image content, there could be more value in the images than the album.
Scott
The album is empty. I had a lady offer me $300.00 but I said no because the girl is so beautiful on the front. It looks great in the living room. To me it's priceless.
Michael
That was a great offer!
Glad you like it. It displays really well and enhances the other antique items in the room.
