This is just a post to send my greetings to my CW friends. Have a nice weekend (it´s almost here). Two weeks ago I found some funnel chanterelles - amazingly late this season.

I'm not sure what chantrelles are? Mushrooms? Such a beautiful forest!:) I could hike there all day!!
An enchanted place, love it!
Thanks so much!!!
Thanks nutsabotas! Yes it's a kind of mushroom, very tasty! I often walk around in this forest with my welingtons on. I leave the path an use my inner Compass. I love it :)
Thanks Virginia, yes it is wonderful that Place - nature :)
Thanks aghcollect.
Thanks PhilipDavidAlexandermorris! I've taken them with my mobile. My eye always look for beautiful or interesting things or perpectives in the wildlife, sometimes I end up painting it or taking photos. Sometimes, as I go older each year (like everyone :) else but when you're in your 40's you seam to add up what you've done this far) I wonder why I haven't taken this photo interest seriously. Why haven't I taken a photocourse/class just for fun? Why don't I use a proper camera? I honestly don't know and I find it annoying ;)
Thanks Jewels, walksoftly and ho2cultcha!
Thankyou Sean!

Breath taking Photos!!! It's so beautiful there! Thank you for posting and keep up the great photography!!!
P.S. Don't fear success, it will only steal from you- then it succeeds and you don't! You definitely have the eye, come on girl! Get your passion on ;)
Thanks Shareurpassion! That is so kind of you! I think it's important to take your interests seriously, in that I mean make sure you do it and take the time for it. I feel men are often much better at that for some reason, good for them! It's time to do the same :).
Thanks fortapache!
Wonderful! You expect seeing a fairy poping somewhere among the moss :-)
And chanterelles!!! Yummy!
Roycroftbooksfromme1 now I have been able to watch the film, very lovely and wonderful, thank you so much!

Ron thanks!
Very nice scenery, I love nature.
Thankyou Trey I do to, nature is magical :)
Thanks Elisabeth for sharing these beautiful photos from your home. I hope to visit you someday! These are very nice! A class is good to learn how to work with what you have. A friend who is a good photographer told me "take the time to make the best composition in the frame of your camera" . And, then - go from there?! Very Nice! I love taking pix too, thanks for reminding me to take more around here.
Hi Val! Sorry I answer so late, I'm in bed ill with a lung infektion. I'm a bit week. Just wanted to thank you and yes I would love to see you here one day :)!

Came across this post, as it, to me, looks like Northern California?
I too, have walked all over the mountains,( my property, not trespassing, lol), down in the creek, under sycamore trees to find Chanterelles. Found some the size of dinner plates, I don’t believe the funnel type are where I’m from. The first time my Brother took me on “a hunt”, we went around a bend in the mountains and it was solid orange! They were everywhere! We picked so many ( several trips up and down the mountain carrying 20-30 lbs. each) my Brother sold them. Big bucks because the fancy upscale restaurants use them..I have never cared for them , but my late Husband loved them sautéed with onions...
Ms.ChrystalShip that is nice to learn! So it looks like North Carolina? I would probably like it there then. This is in Sweden where I live. I love the "kantareller" that is what we call them. There are yellow ones and these "Craterellus tubaeformis". I love them sauteed in butter with some salt and then you eat them with a Meat dish or as toppning on your hardbread. They are great for drying and then you can just use them to season your sause or gravy. Thanks for writing your thoughts on this.
No I read your answer wrong, northern california is what you wrote! :)
