In spite of her two first known glass designs were vases, it seems that for over three years Tamara Aladin desihned mostly utilitarian glass at Riihimäen. mostly drinking sets: Star, X, Pöyta... But it seems that in 1963 she started designing different series of vases, this one being the very first one of them.

I have seen this 1377 series in blue colour, and they say they also came in clear glass. As you can see on pic.4, there were five sizes althugh the pic only shows four of them. Mine stand 22 cm. tall and 15 cm. tall (they're the two one in the center of the catalogue pic) and I do believe the missing vase on the pic is the smallest one of 9 cm., which should be a miniature version of my 15 cm tall one.

I cannot do at the moment, but I'd love to complete at least Tamara's three first vase series.

As links seem not to work on posts but on comments, here you have some CW links for the previously mentioned series:

It's been a couple of days I haven't checked out my posts and i see a lot of love for this two little beauties!

@KAREN, you're always complimenting on my pics... thank youuuu! :)

@VLKMA: it was blue/grey the one I had seen, but had no idea about the seagreen one! So I must look out for one of each colour -and missing shapes- to complete the series! :)
