Some time ago I found this lovely handmade painted enameled Persian from the Quajar dynasty. This pin made of a domed copper plate that has been enameled by hand with an ornate Persian design. Shades of dark and light blues dominate this birds picture that is surrounded in tiny swirling vine-like patterns found in pieces of the early 1900s. The edges are set in a bezel setting decorated with coin silver canatille flowers. It closes with a C-clasp and the back is coated with a plain turquoise blue enamel. In good condition, it measures 5 x 3.5 cm. There are no marks at all which I believe it's silver. It fetch beautifully with my necklace and cufflinks I already published some year ago.
Amber Rose has gave me that time a very good tip to her loving the cufflinks namely to make earrings from these cufflinks. From one of the other pieces from the cufflink I still intend to let change into a ring. Then it becomes a beautiful parure. So this was a golden tip I will definitely go follow! What do you think?
