    A beautifully detailed pin a bit under 3" long, marked Silver. I'm guessing it dates from around 1930. Not sure if the open setting stones are real amethyst or rhinestones.

      Hi!...it is a Celtic broach...but the proper name for it is... 'Penannular brooch'.... if you google that!.. you will see a lot more similar ones to your lovely one...and I!! would think they are real amethysts!....:-)
