I was curious if anyone could help give some info on this old die cast car. I have done a little research but honestly can not find much besides information on the manufacturer. It was my Fathers car and he has had it since he was a boy. As far as i know all of it is origional and looks in fairly good condition. Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

Looks to me like it should be 13 inches long and have friction drive. Should also be pressed steel rather than diecast. Car represented is a Cord. Maker of model is Wyandotte Toys 1937 . I believe it is model 600. They were available in friction and key wind, and maybe free run. Condition on that looks fantastic. This is a highly desirable toy, and in the condition it is in which also means it has a fairly high value. If car is diecast, then I have no idea on maker.

Yes on the bottom it does say Wyondette. Thank you so much for the information it was very helpful. My father has had this car since he was 4, his parents bought it from Woolwoth he told me. He takes very good care of everything he owns, and according to him he never really played with it, he just sat on the shelf as decoration. Wondered if anyone has any idea if there is between the red top and green top when it comes to rarity. I was able to find some pictures of others like this but only one with a green top like this one and many with a red top. Obviously a few pictures cannot determine if one is more rare, however seeing two different versions made me wonder. Anyway thanks again, my son will get this car some day, and now i have a little more information to go along with it :).
