this cute little cachepot is about 5" wide and 4" tall. i found it at Urban Ore today for $3. i really like copper luster stuff and have been collecting it awhile. i always give them to one of my sisters after a few months because she likes them too and has room to display them. i have three sisters and each of them have enormous and really beautiful homes. two of them have many homes each. meanwhile, i'm living in a 300 sq ft home these days...

Copper lustre with a resist pattern. They are common here in the UK, usually quite old too. Going from a book i read years ago, the silver ones were made as a cheaper version of silver tableware, and often had silver lustre all over them.

Very pretty - you are a great brother to share this. Enjoyed SF very much! I didn't have enough time to go searching. We stayed across from the old US Mint bldg at the Pickwick around 5th and Market. Hope to go back up there again and do some proper junking! Me too btw, maybe 400 sq ft. at most. But that's okay - save $ and I travel a lot.

thanks valentino! i'm glad you enjoyed sf. i had a sale at my nursery all wknd and we had loads of people on sunday - up to 40 at a time waiting in line! now i'm working on my own design at the oakland museum - 2 different gardens.
