This was given to my dad by a friend from work who bought a home in western reserve area that was a inn or carriage stop in the past. There is a repair on bottom of oil reservoir covering a name the only letters visible is G.CO.any help in identifying what type of lamp,who made it would be appreciated.

I love these pierced brass lamps. Have never seen one in person yet but I have seen Austrian lamps like this online in the thousands. The piercing looks Moroccan but I could be way off. Going to troll a bit to see if I can find a makers mark.
Yes I've seen these online as well quite collectible and worth good money
