    Hello everyone.

These are my favourite Australian pieces of pottery, the first 2 I have had for years, bought for next to nothing. The little one only purchased a couple of weeks ago.
It took several years to identify the maker of the first two, so I knew what I was looking at with the little one!!
I can't waffle on about all the technical aspects of these, I just know that I love them and believe they are from the early period of Braemore who operated at Waitara, NSW Australia 1939 - 1973.

The first one is 9 inches, second is 7 inches, and the third one is 5 inches.

I will post a link to a site that will show lots of info and pictures for those who would like to have a look.

Hope you enjoy these, thanks, Judy

There's some information I have gleaned from Trove on Braemore here:
      http://trove.nla.gov.au/list?id=86464

Russel Barr Cowan was a major importer and turned his hand at producing pottery here in Sydney. I have no idea who created his designs .... do you ???

Goodness Vetraio!!! Great job on wading through and deciphering all that information!!! You must have the patience of a saint, and would make a great family history researcher!!!
In answer to your question.....no idea at all re the designers sorry....
Thanks very much for the great link to your list, much appreciated and I will go back in and study it in detail now!!!

Great pieces and so very Australian Judy.
Vet has lots of knowledge on the subject (and many other subjects too!).

I thought you might have some local McHugh or Campbell pieces!!

Thanks Karen! I am not a dedicated collector of pottery....so no, not really keen on Campbell at all!!! Just happy with my 3 pieces of Braemore, couple of Diana pieces and other bits and pieces.
My true dedication is always to jewellery LOL!!!!
