Do you ever buy something and then months later wonder why? I found this guy in a box under my bed. He seems quite old. I am not sure whether he is Jesus or an Arab man. His condition is a bit rough so he was only $2.00. I bought him because I found his face mesmerizing. Has anyone seen something like this before?

Hi alliececile, nice little wall hanger! :^) almost looks like bronze. I see pieces similar to this all the time, people's faces/heads, or animal heads, most are English plaster cast, and the wire coming out of the top, makes me think that your piece is plaster also, not clay, you think that it could be plaster?
I guess it could be plaster. Maybe just made to look old. Thanks for responding.
Looks a bit like Cesar Romero as Ram Dass in The Little Princess (1939) ;) It is appealing - a good strong face.
