This is a 1963 Schwinn Typhoon that I restored, I had to change out a few things as the chain guard and wheels were trashed (rusty). I did add an actual vintage Schwinn chain guard that I repainted and added new decals to. Overall it was a very cool tear down and rebuild. Unfortunately I lost the original photo that I had of the bike before I did the work. If I ever locate I will be sure to post it here. Enjoy! :)
My first bike...
I bought this bike at a patio sale, (Quite a few years after it was made) and it rode many years after that--Very well made. It was stolen from my back door. Many of the kids around here wanted it. I suppose it got a quick paint job!! Your photo brought back memories!Thanks!!
