    (415 items)

These are a collection of Bernard Instone enamel rings. As I have said before I'm gradually trying to get sets of his items together. I'm founding it hard going as I have quite a lot of his enamel jewellery with all different colours. These three rings, are a small collection which I'm now adding to, I shall be posting other items which match these rings in future postings.

As you can see these rings have a floral theme with lots of different colours of enamel. They were probably made between the 1920s-30s, unfortunately none of the rings have his maker mark.

    Many thanks for looking

Beautiful. I am very hard on jewelry, so enameled pieces would not last too long on me.

Lol Bonnie, I think they have stood the test of time. I must admit these three rings are in excellant condition, I've no idea how strong the enamel is on his pieces but I would imagine they would be pretty tough. Thanks again Bonnie for passing by, your always welcome.

Beautiful Instone enamels Jean. The last one is interesting because I haven't seen him use just the one range of colour before. The other two with the pastels are more like what I know. Of course, I know little! Gorgeous, and I hope the sets get together well!

Hi Karen, I do have some earrings that match the blue ring, but yes usually his Enamel work was very bright with pastel colours. As I said in my comment above I need to have some time to match up the sets, which I shall to when I'm in the mood, lol. Thanks for your comment.

Awww kyra, my collection is becoming increasingly large, I have most in trays but I do have others which I need to find room for. I'm making a effort to stick to art and craft jewellery, recently picking are very rarely coming along :-(

I'm glad I stumbled across your pictures. I was trying to find out if my ring, bought in a charity shop for £5, was really 1930s or if it was a reproduction! I bought it because it was pretty and it has sat in my jewellery box for 2 years. I had no idea it was collectible or that it was silver. It's like your ring in the third picture and has SILVER BI inside the band, only visible from one direction with a magnifying glass. Is BI what you call a makers mark?

Hi Bonnieconnie, I’m so sorry I’ve just seen your comment. You did very well buying the ring for 5 pounds, the B.I is the makers mark for Bernard Instone your lucky the ring is marked as a lot of jewellery of his is usually not mark. Yet again I’m sorry for the late reply.
