I received this beautiful mantle clock as a gift in 1992 when I graduated from law school. There are no marking to be seen on exterior or interior to indicate it manufacture date. Just had it fully serviced and the clocksmith/horologist informed that while there was no date markings, it dates to the 1910s to 1920s. Love it on our mantle, working again and sounding beautiful at the top and bottom of every hour.

It measures 10.5" wide at base, 8.25" tall, with a 5.5" wide clock face.

I have a very similar clock to this. Mine says Foreign on the face and doesn't have any other markings. From what I've read my clock is most likely German and from after WW2. I would guess yours is from the same time frame - mid to late 1940's.
