German Tri-layer Yellow Solid Core Swirl Marble

Today's item is about the classic toy that was both fun and affordable. Marbles are some of the oldest toys known, and have been played in many countries for centuries. This marble was made in Germany. It is one of the early solid core types that is swirled. Some were swirled, some were not, depending on the type they made. I like the Christmas colors that swirl around the Yellow core. The base glass color is clear and has light bands of yellow near the surface. These marbles usually have one pontil mark, but may occasionally have two. These marbles come in a massive array of colors and sizes.
