    Can anyone tell me about this metal?

    One would assume this is Disabled Veterans from WW1 by the date.

    Found in my fathers pin collection.

    Approx 2" x 2" in size

      Are you are asking about the “metal” used in these types of Medals? Very often when they are gilded, it is because they are made of lesser important materials like iron, aluminum, tin, copper, zinc.
      If you are asking about the theme of the medal, it seems that there was a post WW1 organization of Disabled American Veterans and that they held a convention/ meeting in Atlanta, Georgia in 1926. The Peach shape is quite imaginative. Bob

      It is a pocket watch fob that is used with a leather strap.
