I don't know a lot about this kind of Wedgewood, but i think this is pretty old. i found it along w/ all kinds of cool stuff at Goodwill yesterday. This has a silver handle, and upper and lower rim and bun feet. White glass on a beautiful blue glass. any info appreciated.

This is a really lovely piece of Wedgwood Jasperware. It is the cobalt blue of earlier pieces. Are there any more marks on the base ( England or letters) as that helps to date it? Are there any marks on the silver?

I can't see any marks on the silver. There are a couple of little marks which look like quotes on the bottom - but no letters or anything except 'Wedgwood'. Thank you for commenting AdeleC!

missing the lid, unfortunately. maybe i can find one? 1890s, i think.

it may be older since it only says 'Wedgwood' and no 'England'.

I think it could be a lot older if there is no England. I have a vase I posted 2 years ago and a knowledgeable Australian friend gave me this info: - "There is no 'Made in England' so that puts it before 1891 when the American McKinley Tariff Act required country of manufacture to be shown. There are no date letters which puts it before 1860 when the lettering system started. The two little marks are called "moustache marks'. These were used between 1800 and 1820. Also the dark blue dip over white suggest pre-1820". - I hope that helps!
