Vintage WHO ROLLED MARY JANE Marijuana Hippy Poster. ORIGINAL 1969 is an original 1969 Bill Olive lithograph, made in San Francisco, and not the felt / flocked reprints more commonly found. Measuring approximately 23 inches wide by 35 inches in height, this vintage piece is not without its flaws --namely, edge wear and thumbtack holes. However, a brilliant Hippie era piece it is - AND from San Francisco makes it all that much sweeter.

Reminds me of when I was sole distributor of rolling papers for the whole country of Jamaica. I couldn't import them fast enough to satisfy demand. I would buy for export @ 14-16¢ per pack & was selling for $1.00. So many Americans asked how I could sell them cheaper than curb stores in the States, I raised the price to $1.25 so I didn't have to answer that question ! LOL !! I had to limit individual sales because people from Kingston etc., wanted to buy cases at the $1.25 per pack price ! When you figure in losing a load every now & then, better than smuggling !! LOL !! "Those were the days my friend, - we thought they would never end, ".
A buddy of mine out in Calif...was a silversmith and made me a belt buckel of mr zig zag for my birthday ....I think my brotheinlaw lifted it ...smiling ...
In the late 70's when living at the beach, I painted one of these on beads that covered a doorway! Memories!!!
