Primary and secondary uranium minerals from the Musonoi Mine, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This location has the richest uranium deposit in the world. Uranium for the World War II bombs was mined here. This piece is also rich in radium and gives off strong gamma radiation. Readings measured over 2,500 times average background radiation. A beautiful piece but cannot be stored indoors. Acquired from a museum collection.

Are you sure you want that anywhere close to you? My grandfather worked for Wismut ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wismut_(mining_company) - not by choice. He did a horrible death.

Make a microwave that doesn't have to be plugged in, but you can't open the door. Had a few friends whom I wondered if they or their parents may have played with this shit !
