I got this at an estate sale today. I need help with the identification of the item, and unfortunately, the marking on the bottom is very fuzzy (it's not my photographic ability!). Any assistance on what it is, and who made it would be most appreciated.

Lovely piece, the cherub topper and swan handle suggest a possible teapot or gravy bowl

      Maybe for a shaving brush?

I reached out to a couple of Facebook vintage group pages and found out the mark is from Porcelaine de Paris and looks to be from the mid-20th century. It's been identified as an ink well. Clearly, because it is so clean, it was not used for it's intended purpose. Perhaps the previous owner had it as a decorative piece.

      It is an inkwell.
