Pictured here is another yard sale item that I couldn't leave sitting on the table. The price was super cheap, so why not add this scale to my must have inventory. It is an antique "Jacobs Detecto Wate" store scale. Someone has added their folk art talents with the words "ROOSTERS" YOUR HOME TOWN GROCERY STORE on the front side. On the back of the scale is written THANK YOU.... and COME BACK. I'm sure I will find an empty space on a shelf to display the scale.
Is it valuable??? Who cares.....that's the fun part of collecting. IF YOU LIKE IT & THE PRICE IS RIGHT......buy it & enjoy it.
