Dealer's description, pic 1: Pair of Loetz cameo glass stemware, signed Richard, 1920's, in excellent condition. Title is Paysage Grave, 7.9" tall. " Both were duly marked. As I was unpacking them them, one stem [Pic. 3] brushed against the other and I heard the loudest PINNGGGG! this side of Baccarat and Waterford, a sound I do not associate with Loetz class: lead glass? I decided to double check. And just at the pontil I found an acid-stamp wth the words "CRYSTAL, NANCY, The Cross of Lorraine and the initials CN!!!

    To summarize:
Goblets with Cameo Bowsl comissioned from Loetz through Jouve for Etling with Crystal, Nancy, Lead glass stems!!!!!!

Lerksel, a "mystery" for which there is evidence is not a mystery. But it does shake up preconceived notions!

Beautiful. I wonder how they married the two pieces of glass?
    6. Glascan, 3 years ago
The name "Richard" was not the property of "Loetz".
It belonged to J. Jouve and/or Etling, who in turn could have it manufactured by anyone they chose. In this case, pressed glass goblets and typically in the style of "Cristalleries de Nancy (CN)".
