Now i have well over one-hundred of these Mexican tourist ware pieces from the mid 20th century. Looks like the work of Ladislao Ortega, but not a signed one. it's 9 inches tall.

there is no official mayan/aztec revival - those are just a few of the words placed on this style of pottery. I have a lot of signed Ladislao pieces - and this looks like one despite the lack of his mark. all of this pottery is tourist ware. in fact all 20th century mexican pottery which is sought after is tourist ware - that's not a bad word in Mexico.
