I came across this pendant recently, I personally think it is Amy Sandheim, I've put a photo of another necklace which I know is Amy Sandheim, them ginkgo leaves are very similar. As you can see the colour scheme of the stones are amazing, them moonstones have fantastic hue, I don’t think they show up on the photo’s. The whole necklace has been handmade and the silver work is lovely.
I would love to know your thoughts.

    Many thanks for looking.

That’s a fantastic necklace Jean. Lots of great work, and that central lapis lazuli is so rich in colour.

Hi Mary, thanks for your comment. The necklace was made probably around 1920-30s. Amy was working around the time of Sybil Dunlop and Dorrie Nossiter with these three giants their work was misattributed, especially between Sybil Dunlop and Dorrie Nossiter. Personally I would get mixed up between Sybil and Amy.
I hope that helps a little.

Hi Paul, yes it’s a whopper a great size. I saw it on the American ebay, I had to put a bid in, has you know these type of necklaces are very rare and far between. The seller was selling has the work of Sybil Dunlop, as I said above their are many a misattribution between these Sybil, Dorrie and Amy. It’s lovely to hear from you.

Hi katherinescollections, thanks for your help I also think the ginkgo leaves are a match. The stones are a perfect and with the silver work in my opinion it’s a work of art.

Hi Jean, I saw this and thought it was a lovely, lovely thing. I couldn't manage it at the time, but no doubt it was because I was buying something else lovely. But I did make a little song & dance about it to my hubby. Certainly Saindheim - I love these big flat pendants of hers and I've never seen one with the lily pad design. I've bought a few pieces of Saindheim this year, there was a time when I thought I'd been priced out of the market but things are still showing up here & there. I think that's really good buying. Keep well.
