This beautiful clock was in an estate sale. It belonged to a grandmother who passed away, and the children were clearing out her house.
Kienzle made some of the most beautiful clocks, and most beautiful sounding clocks. This one has a Westminster chime, and is replete with Kienzle's "Celestial" chime bars.
The bezels for the dial and pendulum are beveled and convex glass. The clock for being as dirty as it is works and chimes beautifully.

Just looking at that Chime Rod Array, I believe you when you say the clock sounds beautiful. The case probably resonates like a musical instrument too. Wish we could hear it. Thanks for sharing.

It does sound beautiful, I have another Kienzle wall clock, that has a sweet chime, but it just doesn't compare. The only thing about this clock is that after the Westminster chime ends, the hour chime starts in about half a second later.
