My first twenty two. Daddio gave me this when I was about 12years old
I carried this in the woods and fields for many years. It helped feed me and my family
Lets not talk about trying to get "rich" trapping fur critters Just got lucky and caught black and white striped STINKY ones LOL
Came with box , made out of cardboard back then , also extra MAGNUM cylinder Convertible Model

That's what I carried trapping as a kid.
BB2 what a nice simple reliable machine they are / were
With limitations. I was hunting whitetail deer and hit one in back and vitals
I figured the 22 ruger would dispatch Buck just fine.. Wrong
Bullet bounced off the skull and the deer "came back to life" I ran for my life with critter in hot pursuit. Barely escaped being gored I managed to climb tree / stand and dispatched deer with rifle I should have used in the first place
Had a trapped muskrat charge me. Totally unexpected and I emptied the Ruger, hitting everything around except the snarling monster. Luckily he ran out of running line and I dispatched the bloody thing, - after reloading. LOL !
