Another recent find. A Juliana set. Hope I can find the brooch some day, too. I looked on isisjulianajewelry website and the necklace and bracelet are design reference number 3608. I looked through the site but can't find a brooch with the same color combinations. That is, fall color with light blue ab stones. Most have fall colors with red rhinestones. Hope you love this set, too.

Not to give away your trade secrets, but did you find all these D & E pieces in one place!!!?.
This is an amazing collection, that also comes with dangle earrings. And the brooch is lovely, made up to look like a pinwheel. If I ever come across one, I will certainly let you know.
Do you know how long it takes collectors to get the full parure? To say you are lucky is an understatement, as most pieces get separated in time, and I just know the brooch will turn up for you, as that is usually the easiest piece to find! Stunning!

Oh, i’t’s the color combo on this set that is magnificent... “honey brown navettes and “forest green” marquis are splendid together!

Hi Eileen, No trade secret here. I went to the antiques mall I rarely go to. I hadn't been there for months. Not surprising in 2020, right? A new dealer was there and her stuff is fabulous, and surprisingly very reasonably priced. She ought to do a little research:) I bought more than I should! Drop earring would be wonderful. Another piece to be on the look out for. I have never had a full D&E parure. This is the closest I have come.

Maureen, I caught your question, but this is the first day I have been home all week. So please forgive.( you left a question on my Son’s listing, ha! )
The sugar beads are coated with fine grains of plastic or glass to give a look of granulated sugar. Simple as that. It’s been said “sugar beads” originated in Japan in the early 1900’s. In my “pack mule” post, I mentioned I wanted a grey mule with “silver beads”. They too, have the “sugar” coating, as do other D & aE pieces, but in time the coating wears off. With the polka dot bead, it’s not completely coated so the “sugar” is retained better.
NOW.... I can’t believe the pieces you have picked up! What a dream, and to find them low priced! D & E jewelry is sky rocketing lately, so you are very fortunate indeed. Well deserved my dear! :)

Oh, and as full parures go, I too, have never had one. I am one piece off on several sets...just keep looking.. My blue set is my priority, I am missing the clamper bracelet. I have seen it once, and it went for $300. I would gladly pay that to complete this HTF set!! I have both brooches, both earrings, necklace, and flat bracelet and it’s taken years to come together!

LOVE the colors and will let you know if I ever see the matching brooch. So lovely. I'm still uncomfortable shopping. End of Jan. I was in Orange, CA and many antique malls/stores were open! I got creeped out because one very large mall posted "only 50 allowed inside", but that wasn't true and no one seemed to care. All the restaurants were open too, even inside. I guess that's Orange County rules.

Hi Mary, Thanks for looking out for that. Lots of places open here, and we went through the limited people thing last summer. Really there aren't that many people going to some stores. Restaurants are all under capacity restrictions inside.
