The slogan "Have a Real Cigarette" is from the 1950s so that takes care of dating this sign. And yes they were real cigarettes especially the unfiltered ones.
Now the interesting aspect here is that the cigarette pack and cigarettes are embossed which is to say raised. The cigarette that is the furthest out of the package is the thermometer. Sadly the thermometer is broken but I have thermometers all over and I know it is 75 F there right now.
The sign is 14" x 6". The raised cigarette package is common with cigarette thermometers but this one is a bit more so than others I have seen. Also I think the Camel Cigarettes graphics is the best looking of all the various cigarette brands.
