    Porcelain teapot
    Gold on handle and spout
    Gold Scallop decoration on body with red, yellow, blue and green dots in 2 bands
    Stamp on bottom very faded (can make out word "England" and etching of castle landscape?)
    Lid has hole in the middle...to let off steam?
    Would appreciate any info on maker and age please

      The Tea Pot is a Alcock, Lindley and Bloore Ltd. from the UK.
      Not sure on the age, you can investigate this yourself. Maybe 1950 or earlier.

      Scroll down to the marks, yours looks like the second from left from what I can recognize on your pot marking, best of luck.

      Oh wow! Many thanks for this information. I did have some trouble with identifying the marks and I think you are correct. I will research further. It's such a pretty design.
