Enco Gasoline

In about 1948 a big oil refinery was built in Billings Montana for Carter Gasoline. It sold to Humble Oil in about 1958 and the Brand was changed to Enco. I’m not sure where we got these Enco signs, maybe Iowa, but, like Carter, they are pretty ordinary looking. Maybe we’ll put them on an outside wall somewhere on the new Lakeside Museum Event Center. We shall see as we get farther along with it.
