This SHERMAN brooch is not quite 1-7/8" round. Petite and Quaint. The small screw-on butterfly earrings are a nice marriage.

Quite subdued and yet a sherman masterpiece !~
Yes as Phil said a Masterpiece. This little brooch is an easy to wear piece. My daughter pinned this style to her hat, I have worn one on my Jean jacket as well as on my coat! Lovely piece in clear.
Exquisite piece with so much dimensionality and visual interest. Sherman takes the "ordinary" wreath brooch and transforms it into something dazzling and elegant. And, as you say, versatile too! I love Sherman's clear rhinestone pieces, and this is an example of just how lovely and classic they can be. I can't imagine such a brooch ever going out of style, it is so timeless and perfect.
I can't decide if the wonderful comments or the pieces make collecting the best part of sharing.
