    Hi all. This is a decorative metal box my great grandmother used to keep her sewing materials in. The lid seems to be insulated but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what this would have been originally used as or have any thoughts about it's origin? There are no markings on the box at all. Thank you!

      This is just wonderful to see and especially to imagine what it may have looked like before the scenes started to go. It would be so nice to see if you can find an identical one some day. Great shape for being so old !~
