These glass lollies were a little Christmas gift to myself.
Sold as Murano but I really don't know for sure. They are certainly a cut above the usual standard for this type of novelty item, with really nice colour combinations & fancy designs. I think they are probably fairly recent production.
It was the three with rainbow stripes that really sold me on them. I will buy anything with a rainbow on it, LOL...

Things like this really fascinate me, I love objects that create an illusion of something else, particularly if the reality suggests something far different. Glass seems to be an ideal medium to achieve that goal, its inherent fluidity being able to render so many forms & textures.
