    I don’t buy a lot of these cast pieces— this one came in a large group purchase and was happy to get it.

    Looks to be of the era. Well constructed of brass with an attached spinning propeller.

    Could be made of shell brass but with no certainty of construction materials, I would classify it as a WW2 desk model vice “trench art”.

      This reminded me of some of the things my father made for the practical part of lathe work when he was studying engineering at university.
