I was told this was a railroad yard sign. No they do not want to stop employees from working, the employees will probably do that on their own. The sign is made of aluminum and is about 15" across. You can see on the back where it was attached to a post which is a typical of a railroad sign. It is not the most beautiful of signs as aluminum does not rust although it did acquire some patina. It may possibly been hit by a train. It happens. Yes you can buy new versions of this sign but they have no patina.
That's hilarious! I love it! I want one of those spinner sign that says "Welcome" on one side and "Go Away" on the other. Ideally, I'd rather it say Get Lost, but I'd be happy with either. :D
