These were my Mothers but I don't think they were a family heirloom, she also liked visiting op shops and garage sales many years ago.
They came minus brass tops but a friend who has downsized all but his best stuff gave me the single top in the last photo a few months ago and it fits like it was made for it! Just have to find another now, I won't be holding my breathe :)
A lovely pink with vertical lines on the outside that I'm sure someone I know on CW will love.

Great that you have a pair and that they are family pieces. Great also that the frog is a common size. Keep the size of the frog in your wallet. My best frog was found on a ceramic bowl. GOOD LUCK!
I think if I spot anything in a goodwill/sally/hospice shop with a brass top I'll be buying it just for that as I have others waiting for them! :)
