Okay, things are getting weird again, this time with a couple of Bohemian Art Nouveau iridescent glass vases.
By accident I discovered that the vase shown in photo 1 glows green under UV light. It occured when I was "lighting up" my preceding post, a cadmium yellow thorn vase, & afterwards I was just shining the UV torch about the room, enjoying the glow of things I already knew about & then this PURPLE vase lit up green! I got this vase in February, & what it was first notable for was being the only piece of glass I'd received with no wrapping inside a box (yes, that's right, just a vase wedged into a small box, no newspaper, tissue, bubblewrap, peanuts, etc.)
Now it is even more special for changing from purple to green under UV.
It has an intense ridescent finish & a Pampas style decor. Held up to the light it is a deep red.
The vase in photos 2 & 3 is a Kralik soft crackle that I got last year. It is definitely purple, with a light iridescence. But now I've found it also turns green under UV light
What is going on here? Is this uranium or something else?

Beautiful!!!!
