Hello CW friends,
Couldn't get on the site all weekend, I wanted to post this beautiful Murano glass cat before we may be totally cut off, it's a lovely blue & green (sommerso) 6 1-2"H glass cat from the 50s or 60s by Murano glassmakers Ferro & Lazzarini, with original label.
Thank you everyone for your friendship & loyal support all these years, and giving this lady alot of joy. If the site stays open I will try to get on to love others posts. Happy collecting everyone, if things improve I'll try to post again.

Please, please, please don’t leave!! I wasn’t able to get on it either, until this morning. Hopefully, CW will update their servers and fix the issues with this site.

Thanks everybody for your sweet comments but it's become too aggravating to post, then one day soon have the rug pulled out. If they close it, we lose all the beautiful interesting collections here and that's rather tragic

Scott I'm not going anywhere I'll still check in nights if allowed, remember Barnebys is on Swedish time which is 6 hrs ahead. I actually sent them an email this morning at their Barnebys website to explain the problems & ask them whether tbe site has closed permanently. No reply but they listened & we have (server permitting) access. I love to check out other people's posts, I've just had it with posting. I'm going to spend my time packing up my collection, weeding out what will sell (I'm not a seller yet, but in future), and saving $$$, enough to upgrade our cable TV package. My husband is thrilled lol
Vynil it certainly seems like the last gasp with all these server issues, and the loss of so many regular members who have no patience with it. I'm happy to have made it to 1600 posts thanks to supportive friends like you, keep going if you can, and I'll be there with support IF I can get through :))
Scott I don't think they can fix this outdated system, but I do hope it keeps going awhile longer, I'll see you real soon

Thanks rgrebov, I know, constant roadblocks always popping up here. The latest says 404 site not recognized, you just keep trying and touch it lightly (as with server error) and you can eventually get on. It is sad to see this great antique site go out this way
Couldn’t agree more Jenni..such a tragedy, it should never have been bought out all those years ago, it went down hill from there..they were a terrific bunch before..would like to stay in touch if we can somehow can..are you on Facebook coz! that’s were everyone has gone,,,it’s been a pleasure ‘knowing’ if not!…Penny…(x)

Took me 13 clicks to open this up .. aghhhhhh!!!.. that’s a shame I’m only on there and nothing else, and I don’t give my ‘real details, surname ect! and only on glass sites because that’s where everyone you would know too! has gone to “show & Tell”.. if you can just go on those glass sites..
Penny nobody is trying hard to get on this site with all the blocks, like this annoying 404 which is confusing but just means you have to keep trying. I look on here to support member posts but it's less than a handful. I would check out other glass sites except my little animals are not considered art glass really, so I'm saving a few beauties like this Murano cat to sell later, then getting rid of the rest. I remember Karen-racer telling me she did something similar, it gets to be too much. You're so sweet Penny I've enjoyed knowing you here, good luck with your other ventures. - Jenni

I do believe CW has made to updates to the website. It’s working great now and not only that, but it’s super fast now. Perhaps they listened to our plea for help.

Scott I'm glad Barnebys has done more updates and the site is working better. And it's also nice to see some new posts. Fingers crossed for the future
I sent a letter to the site about the constant problems and fatal errors about 3 months ago. I received no reply. But I do check the site regularly to see what's going on... Tonight every link that I clicked at C.W.com, opened! This hasn't happened in a long, long time. C.W. is "alive and kicking" tonight, but, we'll see. Good luck to all.!
Dean thanks for your great comment things are certainly better except for weekends sometimes. I will be posting again for awhile, then on occasion

DejaVu it is looking good with some minor hiccups, like the 'love' on the post number sometimes sticks before it's accepted, and the weekend usually brings back the error codes til the techs are back at work again. But all in all, much better. I am coming back to post for awhile then will check out others posts. Good to see you & look forward to your lovely posts
