Here is a 7 1-2"H aqua blue satin glass covered dish with seashell & argonaut lid, shells around base and three dolphin feet. Originally made in milk glass, colors reissued in the 1960s. The W with C raised logo imprint is for the Westmoreland Glass Collector Club

Super other-worldly photos are almost eerie in that blue - wowza !~
Truly a masterpiece in glass! The aqua color is fabulous Great piece!
With thanks to everyone for the love and kind support, I'm so grateful
Phil you are spot on about this piece, it seems unfocused but I've found this with other satin glass by Westmoreland, it's hard to get firm definition and there was no direct light on it just a bright room. It's a very pretty dish with the seashells, but it was hard for me to get more clarity. Thank you for your wonderful praise & on target observ
DejaVu I really appreciate your terrific compliments thanks so much. It is a lovely item and came in many other colors but of course aqua being a fave of mine I chose this one. It has alot of oceanic beauty with the shells and dolphin legs
Nice Argonaut. It is a favorite of mine. I know of 46 variations, this is a great piece, they are beautiful.
Great color Jenni. It's hard to find pieces like this in the wild because collectors tend to keep them.
Dean & Dave, thanks so much for the love & your super comments
Dean, I knew there were alot of colors, but 46 is sure alot of them, wow. Must have been a popular piece with Westmoreland. I could see this as a really cool candy dish on the living room table :)
Dave it's true, people do keep vintage glass & then it's only rarely available & drives the price up...me, I'll usually go around a hundred if I REALLY want something, but today they are marking up everything and it gets ridiculous. Yeah this aqua color is great & makes this dish really ocean-like. I remember vacationing to Barbados & the Atlantic Ocean was really that color
