This was an amazing find at a flea market yesterday!
I believe this to be an example of Early Loetz Barock glass.
It is a double rose bowl with two ruby & clear Peony type flowers, attached to a thorny branch base. There is an old repair to one side, done with staples. The item measures around 26 cm in length & around 10.5 cm at the highest point - the loop at the centre.
All of the petals are intact.
Late 19th century, Bohemian origin.

This was found at the Surry Hills markets. A very long time since I’ve found anything there! Glad I decided to take a look, even though it is mostly a clothes market now…
