Here is a 7"H green glass elephant bookend made by glass artist Joel Myers for Blenko in 1969. It is 1 3-4" thick and quite a heavy piece

Stylized nicely to fit the shape of a bookend, the colour is saturated beautifully !~
Jenni, not sure if you will get this, if you do, just wanted to thank you for being a GREAT friend in C.W., It doesn`t look good for the future of the site--fingers crossed anyway!! Thanks again!! Rob
just got back on after 2 days, thought we lost it for good. seems to be back to almost normal.?.
With thanks to you all for the love & support in this difficult week
Phil & Rob, thank you for your wonderful comments & kind words
Phil this elephant bookend is all you have said, very 60s stylish and an awesome saturation of emerald green, it's a very cool piece
Rob my dear friend, I feel exactly as you do, it's been super great know you on CW you're a really good guy, and it seemed so unfair for them to just shut down the site for days without warning. I had a slight hope it might reopen because after a couple wks of emails to Barnebys about the server blocks, someone finally replied to say "we are investigating" & they appreciated my input. CW is an old outdated system so we can't expect perfection, the posts on the opening Activity page are still hard to open (takes alot of light touches) but you usually don't have a problem on Latest Posts, or on a person's profile page. Another thing, the "love" button occasionally sticks & won't record your number, in that case best to leave the site & reopen it and try again, eventually it "takes." We have to do our own troubleshooting here, but as long as it stays open & posts are accepted (sometimes they fail, just keep trying) we are still OK for the time being at least. Fingers crossed it lasts right :)
Many thanks for the love

Thanks so much for your super comment John (I finally archived your posts to find your name, so sorry if I've forgotten), and the kind offer to help when we're in dire straits again, that means alot to me. Well, this old beleaguered site has weathered alot over the years, being bought by Barnebys of Sweden in 2017, and now that co is undergoing some changes, so I think we are lucky to be here. If there are any future issues, the only thing I know to do is send emails describing the problems to the tech team at: contact@barnebys.com, or info@barnebys.com between the hrs of 7 am-9am EST (which is their afternoon in Sweden, but emails won't go through before then & bounce back). They've done a pretty good job this time so think we are OK for now, we'll see. Thanks again John for your offer to help, & being my friend :)
