Truly stunning piece of glass made by Alan Goldfarb , signed on bottom with VT 85. He is not working with glass in Vermont today, he is Mexico. His glass in a lot of Museums, and also his glass is in Smithsonian American Art Museum, here is 4 movies about him, on their website with him.

So glad to hear about this fabulous artist, I assumed he was still working away in Vermont producing beautiful works of glass. I'm glad to hear he is in Mexico.
I have two pieces of artist Goldfarb's work. Both pieces have the "prunts" ..the little protrusions on the glass for better grip(something he was influenced by from glass from the Middle Ages). Happily, I purchased these two amazing pieces from a Florida thrift store for less than $8.00 for the two. Obviously, the thrift had no idea as to the worth of these amazing glass works-of-art. One is a large beaker and the other is a two handled vase- both have the ash glass glaze, prunts and are signed on the bottom.
I will submit photos if anyone is interested..
