I have this Coke sign I bought about 30 years ago. It is metel about 1/8" thick, 45 1/2" dia, it has initials and date, but besides that I know nothing about the sign. Oh also at the time I bought it, the guy had several of them I just purchased just one. Anyone know anything about this sign. It looks like it was paint on the metal, perhaps by hand. Just looking for some info.
    Thanks
    Walt

Very nice sign, I don't know much about it, there are some savvy coke collectors on this site. I would be interested in finding out more about history of the piece myself, my email emderlie @ aol. Thanks

that's a beauty! and i'm not really into coca-cola, but the colors in that one are the best i've seen. it looks brand new, but i once found a box of tin rootbeer signs which had never been used before.

Thanks, it is a very nice sign. I have kept it between cardboard in a garage for the past 30 years. About the same time I got a 36" button sign, which I still have. I worked for a construction compand and we were tearing down a building and there were two signs overhanging the building, they were back to back. My daughter has that sign.

Wow, beautiful sign! This thing is worth around a 1,000.00 in this condition. Congrats!

      Best I've ever seen! A.A.W. 2-36 = 1936?

American Art Works, Coshocton, Ohio. I know this sign was made in 1934 according to the book but I think it might be a typo, in the book.

Signaholic, what book can I get to look up this sign? Where can I find more history about American Art Works?
      thanks
