These are one of a kind low fired clay and hand painted pieces from the 1960's. I will add many more of my collection to share soon. I am in constant search for these wonderful pieces. They are very hard to find the vintage ones.

I have several 'store front' Ocumicho tableaus. One selling tortillas, another selling shirts, a couple selling clothing and so on. All with the yellowish varnish coloration I prefer. I know very little about Ocumicho and have been very close to the town but not actually there. Maybe this year? I also have a largish tableau depicting 'La Banta de San Pedro Ocumicho' with the 7- member band on top and 4 men and 4 women facing each other, maybe, preparing to dance, on a lower level. Also several, which I think represent religious ceremonies. Love them all!
