This is a midnight blue Tiffany paperweight vase with iridescent festooning on the sholder. The inner layer is the same strong iridized amber glass as the shoulder, and the middle layer decoration is made of pulled white opal threads. The internal lustre is evident as the lighter blue lines in the body. It is 5 inches high and is signed "L. C. T. N-3070". (1986)

N prefix = 1900; same year as Paris World Exhibition; same year Loetz was making very similar items. Did L.C. Tiffany borrow from Loetz or the other way around? Or both at the same time?

      Exquisite example, thanks for sharing!
