Great visual memory has Amber.
Yesterday a package arrived from across the Pacific with four candlesticks within. Amber had sent me these gifts as examples of Patination, I believe. I will leave her to comment about the topic if she chooses. I was a bit taken aback actually. The two smaller candlesticks were sitting on top of the others and I knew what they were immediately. WOOMPH! WOW! WAGENFELD. WIRTSCHAFTSWUNDER!

But underneath were two larger sticks that rang even more bells!
I'm sure Amber had remembered the three stick version I had posted some time ago and had some up with two two stick versions.
But there was the 'patination' problem.
Out same the Goddards and a bamboo skewer to remove some unspeakable stains. An hour later I was hosing myself down in the bathroom and then went for the polishing cloth for a final light buff. Sadly one was so badly tarnished I have put it aside for another day.

Oh V I knew it was going to be a project and I abore polishing. I'm thrilled you like them, embarrassed how long it took you! And you are not even done!

Hahaha...under the arms. Bitter cold (3F =-16C) here. Got 7 inches of snow too. Just a bear of a winter. Keep us up on the shine process :))
