    I've never bought anything like this but couldn't resist purchasing - all one piece - was told could possibly be 1880s - 1910 - measures 17 1/2" from widest point of tail to tail & 14" tall. Would love some input on if this is German & a possible maker. Only mark I can see says 5 239 with an upside "u" under the number. Appreciate any feedback.
