Victorian silver stork brooch

Hello again,
Time does really fly, doesn t it? I was occupied with other things so I missed out on a lot of flea markets, but today I made up for that.
I will post some other objects I found, but to start I can show you this beautiful victorian stork brooch I bought.
The stork is a lucky bird is that returns with the reawakening of nature. That is why in Northern countries storks are supposed bringing babies. The stork is also the symbol of filial piety, since it is claimed that storks feed their parents in their old age. The elegant bird is especially in China the symbol of longevity as it reaches an amazing great age.
This brooch is silver, with a nice c- clasp. Hope you like it!
