I found these beautiful earrings in an old jewelry box - there was another woman also pawing through the box, but was apparently oblivious to these earrings. Good!
Thanks to research from Davy and Ivan, I now know the history of my beautiful earrings:
The 'fascio' was eliminated in 1944.
Star within the mark was introduced in 1968.
84 FI (no star on the left).
Earrings were made by:
FIGLI DI VITTORIO FRANCONERI di LIDIA FRANCONERI & C
Via Mannelli, 163, Florence (Firenze)
Recorded as active 31/12/1971

Dragonflypearl - hahahaha she was doing exactly that, and eyeing me when I came up next to her to also look in the box. The earrings were in a corner of the box, unnoticed by her.
