We need assistance identifying this lamp, it has no makers marker or any identifying numbers. It does have D stencil mark on one of the side panels and the DR mark is on both sides. It has red lens plates and arrow plates marked as 1, 2, 3 & 4.
It measures 7 inch high without the chimney and 5 inches square when closed, as the sides come down as photographed. It is 10 inches high with chimney.
It was purchased a few years ago from a Railway collector/enthusiast.
Any help with identification will be appreciated.

There is also a swastika between the D and R.

Pre WWII the swastika was an American Indian sign of good luck. Your lantern is much older than WWII.

WW 2 German blackout lantern. I have a British version of the same thing. Nice item.
